Major Infrastructure Upgrades: Roadway Improvements & Overpasses

Professional Soccer Stadium: Home to Ozark United FC

Sports and entertainment will take center stage with the development of a new 5,000-seat soccer stadium, set to be the home for Ozark United FC, a new professional team joining the USL Championship league. The stadium is partof the region’s push to enhance its entertainment offerings leading up to the2026 FIFA World Cup.

“The Hunt family’s generosity in providing the initial site in Pinnacle Hills was instrumental in getting us here,” said Warren Smith, co-founder of Ozark United FC. However, feedback from nine focus groups, 16 listening sessions, and over 500 one-on-one conversations revealed the need for a larger site to accommodate expansion and enhance the fan experience.

“Our new location prioritizes accessibility, parking, and future growth, ensuring a premier game-day experience,” said co-founder Chris Martinovic. While final negotiations continue, the stadium will remain within the Pinnacle Hills Entertainment District, offering direct access to I-49 for better ingress and egress.

Ozark United FC is gaining momentum, with its U20 team making the playoffs in its inaugural season and ongoing efforts to expand opportunities for women and girls in soccer. Groundbreaking details will be announced soon, with the club aiming for a 2026 start but allowing for 2027 if needed.
